Belire Boxers in Spain - Breeder Affix No 16644

Belire Boxers was established in the UK in 1980 and moved to Muro de Alcoy in Southern Spain in 2009.
We are 45 minutes north of Alicante airport by motorway and nestle half way up a mountain in tranquil wooded surroundings.

Whilst the number of Boxers we kept in the UK declined in the run up to the tail docking ban, what will never decrease is our appreciation of the breed and we cannot imagine our home without Boxer dogs.

Our move to living in Spain has enabled us to once again own and breed Boxers alongside our Bulldogs and Pugs. The easier movement of dogs on the Continent, has enabled us to import top class bloodlines from Poland, Slovenia, Russia and Serbia whose ancestors are some of the all time greats. We restarted with Cha Cha from Spain, Bibby from the UK, Burma from Serbia and have grown fast since then. PL & SK Champion Jedna na Milion Heineken stayed with us for 12 months and his progeny made their mark.

Our proudest show results in 2011 were achieved at the Atibox in Italy where nearly 1000 Boxer dogs competed. Belire UK Carlsberg won 1st in a strong 6 to 9 month Puppy class, handled by Carol Schofield who is his new owner Bergie now lives with Carol in the UK. Our other 5 entries at the Venice Atibox all achieved "Excellent" classifications.

Boxer puppies are sometimes available for sale to approved homes.

Due to the summer temperatures and threat of Leishmaniosis, all of our dogs sleep inside. We breed carefully to help avoid our puppies inheriting heart, hip or kidney problems plaguing Boxers in some countries and support the Spanish Boxer Clubs' health testing regime.
Correct temperament will always be our main criteria to preserve..
